I have a few books left. The workbooks should be in this week. Inflammation Nation is a great read too. Fatty acids are very important. Jasmine can't take fish oil so she takes evening primrose oil. Our brains need fatty acids to work correctly. When Jeremiah get into his huge growth spurts, I double the amount of fish oil he takes. During a growth spurt, the nutrients go to the growing body not the brain. Thus brain fog. Extra fish oil helps with that.

Winter Skin Care
The weather outside is frightful….. And our skin is bone dry. Time for some tender care. Warm showers and baths not hot. Drink plenty of water. Moisturize with a lotion or cream after bathing. Read the labels of your lotions and creams that you use. Water does cause further dryness. Petroleum byproducts sit on the skin, and can cause the skin to break down. All natural is best for your skin. Olive Oil, Coconut Oils are my favorites. Shea Butter and Mango Butter are rich creams that protect skin from harsh winter weather.

Here is a all time favorite recipe. I keep this in a pint jar .
Copy Cat Hidden Valley Mix
Ingredients
15 saltine crackers
2 cups Dry minced parsley flakes
1/2 cup Dry minced onion
2 T Dry dill weed
1/4 cup onion salt shopping list
1/4 cup garlic salt
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup garlic powder
Put crackers through blender on high speed until powdered.
Add parsley, minced onions, and dill weed.
Blend again until powdered.
Dump into bowl.
Stir in onion salt, garlic salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Put into container with tight-fitting lid.
I store my mix in a pint canning jar.
For Salad Dressing
1 tablespoon mix
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup buttermilk
Mix together until smooth. Makes 1 pint.
